Dr. Jason M Belejack ND

Dr. Jason M. Belejack ND, or “Dr. J”, is a Naturopathic Physician and co-owner, with his wife Kristy, of Durham Naturopathic Health and Wellness Center, located in Durham, CT.  He received his doctorate from the College of Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport, graduating summa cum laude and is a certified therapeutic lifestyle practitioner.
Prior to that he earned a BS in Pre-Med at CCSU, and then became an advanced EMT in Hartford, but that field of medicine was not where his heart lied. After investigating alternative branches of medicine, Dr. Belejack then went on to graduate as a massage therapist from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and right from there he found naturopathic medicine which blended all his medical knowledge but in a natural, holistic approach.
Through this medical training in a variety of fields he is able to use his broad knowledge to help his patients. As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Belejack uses safe, non toxic approaches to treat the underlying cause of disease. His patients are treated as individuals and their treatment is tailored to their specific needs, where no two individuals receive the same treatment although they have the same condition.
Some modalities that he utilizes include dietary and lifestyle modification, nutritional supplementation, botanical medicine, homeopathy, counseling, and detoxification treatments.
Dr. Belejack specializes in conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, digestive and endocrine disorders, and neurological complaints and has advanced training in pediatrics and men’s health. In addition, Dr. Belejack is also an adjunct faculty at the CT Center for Massage Therapy teaching anatomy, physiology and pathology. He continues to remain up-to-date on the newest research.
